Thanks! I have lots of assorted cheap red LEDs, will probably use the HLMP-6000s as I've used them in other CCS resigns, with good results.
These small red LEDs have a forward voltage drop of 1.56 to 1.57 VDC, and I found that manufacturing "lots" have very close voltage tolerances.
FWIW, Bottlehead uses these HLMP6000s in their various CCS designs.
