Alternate Output Iron

I build a lot of amplifiers and I am familiar with Hammond, Edcor, and Transcendar. I have just been searching for a 5K UL output transformer and looked over at the transcendar website and found that he now offers a 5 Watt 5K UL transformer. Their transformer specs says it goes from 20Hz to 80kHz at 1 watt. In my previous experience with their iron they will do low frequencies better than the Edcor iron. What are the chances the mounting board can be modified to fit that transformer?

The 5W Transcendar appear to be notably longer than the 10W Edcors, the Transcendars being: 3.75" x 2.5" x 2.25" Tall and the Edcors being 2.5" x 2.6" x 2.2" (roughly).

Yeah, the tabs make it too long for the 6x10" top plate. BUT, I plan to do a Front Panel Express version soon so that folks can mod it all they want to. Those little Transcendars look cool:
