Andrea, Eric is right about the 5AR4s. One won't do.
I was going to use two 5AR4s in my latest amp but space didn't permit so I used diodes and a dropping resistor.
I would use two 5AR4s and TWO C354 chokes and caps so that each channel has the equivalent of an ST70 supply all to itself.

Hi all,

I've done some mistakes in my last post ... I think Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_06 .

I didn't specified that I would buy 2 new power transformers :) , but I don't know which must be the high voltage of secondary winding with tube rectifier solution.
I found from an italian trannies producer one with 390+390V 200mA, 6.3V 4A, 6.3V 4A, 5V 4A and another one with 380V+380V 200mA, etc.

Hi Andrea,

If you must use tube rectifiers on your high wattage amp, then go for the 390+390. You'll need every volt to get to the promised land. FWIW, I haven't looked at the voltage ratings of the glass rectifiers so that may be something to look at. You may end up using chokes in your power supply, too. Luckily, push-pull does a fantastic job with ripple rejection.

BTW, I assume these are power transformers center tapped and you'll use full wave rectification, right?

Yes, this transformer has 390V-0-390V winding, suitable for tube rectification ;).

I will use Hammond 156R choke, with same resistance and inductance as Dynaco C354.

B+ without load must be about 485V?
