Such a deal! We've been selling EHKT88's for less than that for months!

When I was goofing around trying different stuff in a (triode wired) Dynaco ST70,
here's what I liked best:

WE350B (good luck! But there's nothing like them)
KT66 (back then, English)
Fat bottle 6CA7 (I couldn't tell much diff between US & Russian ones)
8417
Note that switching to UL would have given different results, in my case
I had 101 dB efficient 50's Jensens, I didn't need the extra juice.

I had a whole case of Xf3 Mullards at one tiime, I sold 'em.

However , I finally switched to an ST35. With 101 dB/W/meter to work with,
the less the better. The speakers, despite the bulk, were only rated
for 25W...in 1952, 25W was a big amp!
