To get the paint on my DIY35 to stick, I sanded the AL with 220 grit first. Paint stuck no prob!
These modern spray bombs are amazing! No runs, no globs, no orange peel, no sags, and fingernail hard in three days! I should be on TV! ! ! !

Excellent looking unit, I am envious of your metal and wood working talents (mine are on a par with Homer Simpson's).
What are the extra switches for?
I was thinking of emulating what VTL does and make the amp switchable
from UL to Triode mode. (best NOT performed while it is powered on).
I took a different approach, all components are on the tube socket side, except the terminal strips, so I can top-mount the boards.
