My congratulations to Shannon, these are so easy to build and so nice, I can't say enough good. I'd love to build more but what would I do with them?

Nice clean job Don !

You build more and rotate them every few weeks,
or build them for fun and sell the extras. Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_16

Nice work, Don. Very clean. I really do like the Ikes - probably my favorite kick-your-speakers-in-the-a__ tube amp. Though I've been sold out a while and said I wouldn't order anymore, I've had a change of heart and think I will revise them to Rev C this year along with maintenance of the other boards. They are a challenging build since there are two chassis, but I think the chassis possibilities are getting better all the time.

I found these very easy to build, I think the two chassis idea is actually easier since there are fewer wires to route. More holes to punch for sure but its just more of the same. The only caveat I would give is the Hammonds are not consistent with their mechanical drawings. A couple of times now I have drilled and punched based on the specs given only to have the tranny not fit right. X19 is not always exactly X19.

A chassis from soundtastik would make these things ridiculously easy to build.
