Thanks for info,
I was browsing around at part express to order some coupling caps for aikido octal preamp and this amp. Then wonder why this amp uses 0.1uF while other amps use from .22uF to .47uF so I thought .1uF is the max. That's great. I will try 0.47uF to see how it sounds.

I used to have Revel Studio2 with Mark Levinson 532 and Benchmark DAC2. Recently sold the Revel Studio2 for JBL Everest DD67000 so I thought this speakers will work well with tube. My first plan was Ikezilla so i did collect all the info I need then realized I needed to find a massive PT which no where available unless to get 2 PT to drive all the tubes. If this 100W is doing good, I will start Ikezilla for more power. It would be my first time to experience with tube sound.

Actually, I don't listen too loud so I guess 100W would be enough. As long as it can drive this speakers, then I am happy.

With those horns you got, you don,t need more power. Would just be a waste of money. More is not always better. Look at this example:

My first speakers were Polk Audio RTi10 for few years then moved up to Revel F208. That POLK AUDIO RTI12 is pretty loud too. After few years, I upgraded to Revel Studio 2 with all different solid state amps so I was thinking I should try tubes to see what the different. The reason I wanted to go 100w-125w because the sensitivity is 87.7 dB which require more power. I was busy for while working on my house restoration so it has been delay with all the pTranscendentarts lying around. I heard others mention that with 94 dB, I just need 8-15w tube that enough to power this speakers. I plan to make this 100w in triode mode.

The Pinnacle OTL 300B Push Pull Tube Amp looks very decent. Probably I will buy that in the future. I thought the parallel would give more power but still 6 W in 8 ohm. As for now, I like to stay with KT tubes type but for sure I want a set of 300B later.

Oh boy, 6 million dollar home theater? I have been working on a plan to build a home theater in my house but the HOA is pissed me off. I am tired of everything is need to get approve so I am going to sell the house and move to a better place without HOA.
