Unless you're applying 10KV+ of HV to a directly heated transmitter tube, you don't need it.... stripping is a myth for indirectly heated cathode tubes. (have a search around the forums for the science
)
But the CL90/A works wonders for inrush surge limiting, especially for toroids.
