Mouser Parts Subsution

Postby djonesii » Mon Sep 07, 2015 7:37 pm

Dear forum folks ...

The 282-330K-RC resistor is not available. The one at this link is:

http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Xic ... 0avWRRY%3d

Can they be substituted in a 6l6 build?

The Panasonic 47uf 350 volt are on backorder

Any reason not to sub in this:

and finally ....

The last sub:

http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Pan ... yxkFjzA%3d
This for the xircon

Thanks for the help on this.

Dave -

Your subs should be fine. I use the blank board as a template to cut the chassis holes, you need to do that before you assemble the board of course. Pics of a few Clementines I've built at http://tmamps.com Show us how yours comes out !

Dear all;

Edcors here
Mouser order on the way with the parts sub.

If anyone is interested, I have a handy excel spread sheet that will check a mouser order against the bill of materials.

Added user part numbers so that I can see what is what when it comes in!

Made a choice to go with an oversized hammond steel chassis. May be making a Budgietine, or a linking in a glassware preamp .... so the space will be used one way or an other!

\Some photos to be added soon.

Did a careful reread of the instructions, and it seems I forgot to oreder the right resistors and capacitors for the ultra linear bits ..... One more got to Mouser!

I'm sure the entire forum is just waiting to see the actual build thread .....

Have had a cold over two weekends, and did not get much done.

Got the bench chassis built, and took a few photos. Will be starting the live build thread here next week I hope.
Found out my 1/8 inch bit is in horrible shape from a skate ramp build.
Found out my hole saw is a horrible way to cut aluminium sheet
More stuff from Amazon on the way.

The missing parts did come in!

Spread sheets all printed with the actual build sequence, and ready to roll as soon as I feel up to holding a soldering iron.
