6L6GC Direct swap tubes

Postby opa1 » Mon Jan 26, 2015 1:02 am

I'm just about finished with my Clementine. I built the 19volt and above setup. I have a pair of new matched Tung-Sol 6L6GC STR's. What other tubes can I use that are direct plug in without resistor changes? I can strap the sockets if needed.

Hi,

KT66 is a direct swap with a 25W Pa.

Cheers!

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.

Almost all of them were made by Tung Sol or Sylvania both are good NOS are getting expensive , the new ones are Russian or reissued Tung Sol .
