Something new, something Blue

The latest... Seems no diff in output with KT120s vs KT88s... maybe need to increase the B+... I built it to spec with 1.k and 1.5K cathode resistors.
She is ruler flat freq response at fully output. short RMS was 10watts. My version which was 1khz signal at 1.8volts in got me 5watts all day long... clipping was funny... normally once you start to push, the power out decrease very very fast... Chipping with this amp was a distorted sine wave... no decrease in power. 20hz to 90khz at 1watt less than 1db down. 20hz to 20khz at 2 watts less than 1 db down. I didnt bother with anything else. Big shout out to Tom Meza... Best technical adviser around!

Nice job!!! And nice pictures too. Looks just super.

This is one of the amps Shannon has designed that I haven't tried yet. When I get some breathing time from all the other projects I have going on I may give one of these a shot.
