Here is my latest.
Stock clem... never! She is sporting the Edcor 5H 200ma 50ohm choke... This makes it a drop in for the C354. The additional filtering is sooooo amazing.
Noise at idel was 20mv on the 8ohm tap... that means my cornscalas are quite. Using star grounding and cap on grounds helps too :-).
With 6l6s I got 3watts RMS at all times, 5watts for short RMS and 8watts peak. Freq response was flat from 20 to 20K @ 8watts. I defin love the Transcedar iron.

The insides... well. I did all my drilling and used the cutoff wheel on my drimle to cut the IEC. I used by grinder to grind down any flashing etc... its ugly but no sharp edges... I should have un installed everything and painted.

and yes those are in fact big ass wima caps :-).
I love there performance.
I also used UF 3amp diodes... seems no ill effects.

Nice!
Grommets on your holes and tidy wiring... good practise
Grinding is a good way to make a solid electrical connection to the chassis.
I use a much larger drill bit to de-burr the holes.

Sweet build. I used Transcendar OTs also and agree that they sound amazing.

My last project was like this! But I was happy enough to have it deburred that I didn't care about the cutoff wheel streaks. Looks great.
