Source for tubes?

I'm the new kid on the block and I'm wondering if anyone has a favorite supply house that stocks tubes for the 1626 Clementine project? I'm reaching some dead ends: stores out of stock, and some stores offering a suitable replacement tube without mentioning what tube they plan to sell me....
There's plenty of tubes on eBay, but that might be a crap-shoot.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I've been rather discouraged with my quest to locate a suitable pair of 1626 tubes. eBay looks either spooky, or expensive, or they want a small fortune in shipping/handling fees. Every other online store is out of stock.
I decided to give Steve at Apex Jr. a call. I've discovered that he has a small stash--probably enough to build a dozen amps. He's a handy resource: www dot apexjr dot com

Tubes and More only have one 1626 in stock....
Tube Depot won't tell you what the replacement device is going to be....

I typed 1626 into their search box. No product available.

Interesting. I'll consider using their resources in the future. Thanks.
