Maple Flavored Darling

Birdseye maple added to flavor the tone.

Completed yesterday and sounding very good. I tried to use as many junk box parts as I could. I had a slightly used Hammond 269EX and some 5.5k output transformers of unknown provenance. Found a choke that matched the hole spacing for the power transformer. I used a CL-140 inrush limiter.

I'm getting 225 V p-k and 24 mA for Pd=5.4 watts.

Looking really good!
"It's a different experience; the noise occlusion, crisp, clear sound, and defined powerful bass. Strong bass does not corrupt the higher frequencies, giving a very different overall feel of the sound, one that is, in my opinion, quite unique."

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.
