Kid's Record Player with Ceramic Cart - need stylus

Postby Shannon Parks » Sat Oct 05, 2013 5:24 pm

Scored a great stash of 45s at the recent hamfest, the Peoria Superfest in September. It was loaded with pure gold: Stones, Beatles, CCR, one-hits, etc. So it was enough for me to hop on eBay for a kid's record player for my little girl for Christmas. Anyhow, it looks pretty clean and "works", other than the stylus is busted on the ceramic cart. Before I do too much research (I know nothing about crystal and ceramic carts), I wondered if anyone had advice. If it looks like a common stylus, I guess I'd just grab one online. Else I could swap out the cart, though I think I'd damage the choo-choo train sticker on the tonearm. (lol)

OK, looks like a 700 stylus, and mines just got a heck of a gooseneck bend in it (and missing moonrock).
