I had a Siamese mix that did that right in the middle of recording a record. Still got the record with the scratches on it. DANG IT!!!! >:o

Sure makes a 78 specific cart. The trick for me was finding a turntable with a 78 speed option, I found a Philips 202 at a junk shop for a song a little tweaking and I'm into 78s.

Because I really needed something else to collect.
