I have the following speakers that I want to identify. I am hoping someone knows something about them. I want to find out the current/power ratings of the field coils:



1) Hammond Rola

Measured Field Coil: 0.978k

2) Jensen
F12NS-C6142
AO-21055-2-SH.3

Measured Field Coil: 0.699k

3) Magnavox
Markings have worn off
There are 3 wires coming out but can't see where they attach, so no idea what they connect to.
I either get 1.902k or 5k depending on which wires I connect to

4) Telefunken
Field coil is: 1.989k
No other markings

I checked my RCA 811K and a Zenith 10S130, both large radios, and the drop across the field was 20 volts. You obviously aren't going to put 100ma through a 1.9K field, you'll lose 190 volts.
