Given to me

I was given two 10inch speakers and I was told they are full range. The only markings are that they are 8 Ohm 250 Watt and PA-1001.
Has anyone come across any of these?

If 250 watt and full range, they are most certain PA speakers.

Some can be used as midwoofers. Depends on a lot of things.

Can you post some hi-res pics, particularily of their rear? We may be able to help with more O:)

Cheers!

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.

How can I use them? Would they be good enough for tube amps?

I know a person who prefers PA and guitar speakers for hi-fi use with his death-metal CDs. I think he is nuts, but that is what he likes. With the PA speakers (if that is what they are), they will put out mostly the mid-range - and fairly inefficiently. You could try.
