Well the enclosures are done. Today I'm gonna stick the drivers in and start breaking them in. If they satisfy my taste then I will veneer them and make them all shiny and "purdy".

Yes I did. I guess there is no reason why not to. Not much pressure to worry about.



Also I decided to go ahead and veneer them first before putting int he drivers. I'll go pick up some veneer tomorrow and get to it.

Let us know how they sound! I'm trying to decide between Martin's Project 2, Project 5 with FE207, or maybe metronomes? Yours look quite nice!

forgot to post a pic after the veneer was applied. I still need to lacquer them but now that they are up and running i'm in no particular hurry :P

Nice use of the wall switch as a height reference, Samir. Good lookin' stuff.

thanks, the wall switch worked out pretty well although i have no idea if they are standard height :)

Thanks. I havent done too much listening yet. They are nowhere near being broken in. At moments they sound AMAZING. But i don't know if thats my mind playing tricks on me. Stuff you build yourself has a way of sounding better then it is. Once they are broken in and finished I'll bring people over for a listen to get an unbiased opinion :)
