Am I missing something? What makes them so much more expensive?

FE108 is a cast iron frame, the other two are stamped. The FE107 is a shielded FE103.

I would opt for the FE103. I mean, does a 4" driver need a cast iron frame? :)

Sound.

I heard them in a Frugal-Horn ( http://www.frugal-horn.com/ ) and below 100Hz, the sigma's didn't mud-out.

Cheers!

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.
