Has anyone out there have any experience with these??? They seem to be well built. The sensitivity is 97 db 1W/m.
Would these work well with dynaco mk-IIIs ? Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_11
I like to feel the music as well as hear it!

Cerwin Vega has always been known for their high SPLs and low end response (they supplied the "Sensurround" hardware for the '70s movies Earthquake and Midway). They don't, however, get real high scores in definition or imaging. If your primary source of music is Rock oriented, they'd probably be okay. If you listen to a wide range of musical genres, or lean toward classical/jazz, they probably aren't the speakers for you.

In any event, at $1000.00 a pair, I'd damn well want to audition them before loading them in the truck.

I have a pair of Cerwin-Vegas and can second the low bass response, but haven't really got an opinion on the imaging. maybe it's that I've never had it really good :)

Thank you all, this helps a lot. I may build my own using select drivers from parts express. They have several selections with SPL,s at or over 100db 1w/1m. Eminence 12" kappa pro for the bass driver @ 101.6 db 1w/1m.
I'm pretty good in the woodworking dept. and MDF is plentiful. :)
