get*set*go semi-clone with 6AV5GA

I built this amp in one afternoon/evening. It's basically a get*set*go circuit without the DC on the heaters, and using 6AV5GA's in the output rather than 6B4G's. Ed Brown made a nice post a few years about a few years ago and I've built quite a few, with great results. http://www.diytube.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4551&p=55823&hilit=6AV5GA#p55823 This amp is the basic get*set*go schematic, but without the DC on the heaters, which isn't needed since this isn't a directly heated Triode. I also used solid state rectifiers for a little more B+. The Cathode circuits are on turret boards, as well as the power supply. Great sounding amp ! I had to clear the snow from my deck to take the pictures this morning !

Wow, nice build. I love how you used those little turret boards, very clever.

Hi Tom,

Wonderful. What a nice inspiration for building these amps. I have a few 12AV5GA here to try out for the my next build. Thanks.
