With the unfortunate demise of the get*set*go boards, I decided to build one by hand. It wasn't difficult, using some turret boards from http://apexjr.com I used 5 boards, one for the high voltage supply, left and right filament supply, and left and right cathode resistors and caps. Not a bad look. Fired right up and sounds great.
So neat....I wish I had your build as a reference when I built mine with Transcendar OPTs and Antec Toroidal Power Tranny, on ST70 chassis back in 2009...mine looks so bad now :)
Gregg - You can't beat those turret boards for $ 1.99, old, but well made from apexjr.com. I sat and stared for awhile until I figured out the best way to make it happen. Quad - You didn't have a lot of space to work with under that ST-70 chassis. I really like the Hammond 8x12x3" chassis. My technique it to use a 4/40 threaded spacer on the tube socket mounting bolt and building a sub-assembly there.
