300B G.S.G

Hello ,
I finally finished a 300B G.S.G. I fired it up but only the left valve is working. The filament on the right side isn't working, so I swapped them left to right and it's still the same.I tested the voltage at 6.3v from the trans, but no volts going to pins 1 and 4 on the socket. Everything seams to be connected .When I turn on the power there's a clicking sound, which I haven't heard on other amps I've made.Could the diodes be faulty?
If anyone has any ideas it would be good.

Thanks

Could you send a close up hi-res picture of the tube socket of non-working channel ? Did you check that diodes and capacitors are polarized correctly ?

Hi Tom,
everything is pointed in the right direction,it still makes the click sound without the valves in. I got a pic of the socket. Thanks for your help.

I'd check closely around the second terminal from the bottom. I can see a solder splash and the signs of arcing right there. Maybe the high voltage is arcing over to ground, causing a clicking sound. If you got too much solder under the terminal strip, it could be shorted. Check everything in that area, make sure you have 6.3 volts (give or take) on the bottom terminals, connected and un-connected. Shouldn't be too hard to find and fix.

Hi Tom,
I still can't find anything wrong, so I just received some new diodes to see what happens. I'll let you know the results!
