James Audio JS-6113HS vs JS-6113H

Postby punkzter » Tue Jan 24, 2017 7:38 am

I'm working on collecting the parts for a Get Set Go amp. I have the option of getting either a JS-6113HS or a JS-6113H. I'm having trouble finding out what the difference is between the two transformers, and wondered if anyone had any thoughts? I've attached the spec sheets for both transformers.

Thanks!

The "H" has 2.5k and 3.5k Primary and the "HS" has just a 3.5K Primary.
They both have a 5K tap, but do not need for this app. The "H" would be the way to go, I think.

So, it would seem that the big difference is the frequency response. But, can someone clarify if I need to worry about any frequency response variations that are outside of the 20Hz to 20 Khz range?
