My Go

Postby HotRod » Wed Feb 11, 2015 10:42 am

Bought my board beginning January 2014.
Finally got parts together and time/motivation to finish it.

Thanks for an easy to follow build. Here's my finished amp. Need to get correct power switch so using toggle right now.

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.

Thanks.
Really enjoyed this build and listening to it. Love the vocals and strings.
Had a RCA 6SL7 in and changed to Sylvania, What a difference.

I'm going for a look as well as sound.
Has any body tried the Full Music 6SL7 tubes.
I know a little pricey do like look.

Yes. The sonic difference IMO, is not anywhere near the difference in price. I dropped in some NOS for a client that used them and he ended up trading me the rest of the FM tubes for the NOS I had on hand.

This is just my experience. Remember, YOUR ears are the only ones that matter ;)

Thanks
Guess I'll run what I have for now. Maybe later will think about it again.
Really want to build another, maybe the KT88 Clementine.
Already have a set of 6CA7 and a SL7 here though.
