This my GSG build using various vintage parts for the base and chassis. I didn't want to crowd onto a small space. Fun to build.

The rear chassis vent is oh so old school! Love it. What was it re-purposed from, Pete?

Thanks.
The metal plate was cut from the lid of an older Marconi lab instrument, thick aluminum, but easy to drill.

My B+ and other DC voltages downstream are about 18-20V low, though my transformer is the recommended Triode and the PS parts only vary by a little (2.3Hy choke, 20uf film cap first position off rectifier, etc.) I may try another 6AX5 rectifier tube.
EDIT: Voltages now spot-on with better GE 6AX5GT rectifier tube.

It is settling in very well, and sounds great. For now, using my non-Hi-eff speakers while building new Hi-eff speakers.

Using the original grounding scheme - no connection between floating ground on board and earth on AC plug. And no turn on pops.

Really like it.

A picture of the underside, in case anyone's interested.
