gonna try to post a photo link to my new 300b GSG build, a few variations from the norm, I used a vintage 12x10x3" bud box with cage. I opted for a non-symmetrical configuration, the only down side was the B+ for the outputs was a long run, but other than that it worked out great. The minutia: Trancendor output transformers, russian K-40's, bypassed the power supply electrlyic's with some Solens per Highflyin9's build, used a few boutique caps and resistors but otherwise went with the BOM. I picked up 20 extra volts using diodes instead of a rectifier tube

I used KR 300B balloons and a smoked glass Tung Sol 6SU7GTA

The downside?...the cage was a 1/4" to short!!..the upside? the cage fits perfectly on my Aikido preamp!! and I'm using the two together.

...and?.. and?... It sounds phenomenal!!!! Thanks Shannon for a great product!....and Tom, thanks for all your photos they were a great help.

Thanks, Your build was an inspiration. My metal work is just so so, I'm getting better but still learning.. and BTW with inputs shorted it is stone silent. Yeah!!.. I'm getting some noise from my Akidio preamp...(now that project was more or a struggle) but that is a story for another day.
