I live in this part of the world where I have to use 230V-240V power transformers for my tube gears. Choice of power trannies are very limited. James power transformers are fairly easy to get here, but I wonder if James JS-9611 is good for a GSG 6B4G project?

I have another question, is there any changes that needs to be made to the resistor values if I use the 360V connections?

Recommendation:
This transformer is design to suit tube 6BQ5, 6V6, 6B4, and 6L6 best.
It can support 2 Single Ended or 2 Push pull circuit.

I was also looking at the james power transformers I think for the GSG the 360-0-360 would be a bit too high.

Triode electronics has an export PA774 transformer that has 240v primary or alternatively Antek inc has one called a AN-3T325 toroidal plus you can get a very well made steel cover for it.
They both use that fantastic invention for shipping called the "Flat Rate Box" which is incredibly cheap and quick.

I have the PA774 on my st-35 amp and it gets very very hot im not sure what the temp would be like on a GSG.

There is also a guy in hong kong that has a webshop called VT4C he stocks "mars" transformers that are made in china they are not cheap but they are phenomenally good i had used them on my GSG
the power transformer model is LM-330B-EU it is a very big transformer at 7KG and you have to cut a square hole for it.

It is very important that the transformer has 2X 6.3v windings on it as one big single wont work at all.

seeing as we are actually neighbours Is there any good shops in Sg with diy parts for tube amps (transformers,high volt caps,etc)
that would do shipping to Aus.

I have finally completed my 240V version of the GSG!!!

I found out Dynakit offers a 230V version of the PA774, the PB 028-1. Works nicely!

Nicely done. That is a Hammond chassis, so you can do it too. I used the same one for my ST-35.
