I put together a get*set*go over the weekend with
Transcendar TT-212-OT output transformers, on a
Hammond 17 x 10 x 3 chassis.

The fence falling down in the background belongs to the
next door neighbor, not me! Time to prop it up or get rid of it. hah
I do need to con my brother to bring his power washer over
and clean my deck up ... too much oak tree slime on it.

Hi Tom, I noticed that you used an extra wide chassis with the Transcendar OPTs. Did you find that there was too much flux interaction on the smaller chassis, or were you just using what you had available?

Actually the guy I built it for wanted the bigger chassis.
I usually use the 12x8x3 for almost everything.

Thanks for the info Tom. I may go with the Transcendars over the James as the current price with shipping for the James 6112 is $214 on eBay versus the $150 they used to be... unless people feel the difference is really justified.
