Thanks Brad -

I built it for a guy who missed the first one on eBay.
He requested the power switch on the front and the
RCA's on the back - otherwise it's the same.

You built the ST70 in only 4 hours. What took you so long? ;)

Nice looking work, as always Tom. Which RCA jacks are you using? I never seem to order the same style, and I'm still trying to decide which ones I like the best.

The ST-70 was faster because there were no holes to make !

I've never gotten the same RCA jacks twice ... I usually buy them
on eBay from someone in Hong Kong, I've gotten good
ones and bad ones.

I have been buying my rca's from here. Like that they come with the right color wahshers unlike the ones on ebay. They cost a little more but think the quality is better.

I also use them to purchase this wire for wiring filaments.

If there were a category in the Guiness Book of Records for tube amp building (most prolific and shortest production time), your record will be the one everyone would be after. Seriously, it takes me 4 hours just to decided which one to build. Good work.

Tom,

From where are you buying your Sovtek 6B4G, if you don't mind me asking?

+1 on the Neutrik RCA jacks from Markertek. I use them on all of my DIY stuff.

I still am hunting for good 5-way binding posts. I used Cardas on my GSG but they are too damned expensive to use on everything....

I've been buying the 6B4G's from TubeDepot ....
http://www.tubedepot.com/so-6b4g.html

They are up to $ 99.95 a set - I think they were about 79 when
we started building these amps.

Those Markertek RCA's look good - not a bad price either.
