Electronics are still new. I'm learning terms, and how things work. The R17 resistors on my board are really hot. Too hot to touch. I had some junk box SE output transformers I did the initial run with. The resistors were hot, but I figured I'd wait until running with the good transformers, before being concerned.
Well with the new 3.5K transformers, the resistors are still really hot. But I don't know what would be normal. The unit plays just fine. The resistors I believe are correct at 3W.
How hot is normal, and how hot is damaging?
Thanks,
Steve
