Nice collection, Martin. I love the Tek carts. Helps to wheel the scope around the lab.

thank you O:)

I am arrived in a special mission here,
and with a very great pleasure to you all.

In this forum is some treads talking about the parting out of this wonderful scopes, only for some tired 6DJ8 they want to put in audio amplifiers...
this make big tears in the eyes of Tek restorers, but we have learned to be quiet ab this in audio related communitys.

In this forum I found the picture from a very special Tek scope, now I think the tubes will be removed. This scope is a rare one and a great step in the engineering history of Tektronix. Also, it`s not useful for DC and Audio measurements, only for very high frequencies.

I want to buy this scope, including a transport to germany. It will be full restored here, including nos tubes, as a part of my Tek collection.
I know this is a expensive adventure, but I very need that (love)

greetings
Martin

p.s. I can help with informations, repair tips, spare parts and more, related to old Tek Scopes.

Well, when it comes to a deceased Tek scopes, most everything, not just the tubes tend to be "re-purposed" by us, even the silver-on-ceramic terminals and silver and teflon wiring.

They are treated with great respect.

Dead Heathkits on the other hand.... (666)

Cheers!
