Really great Diy tube tester project !

If anyone is interested I have found a tester that is moderately simple to build, doesn't cost a fortune and will perform most needed tasks ! Google > "The "Sussex" Homebrew Valve Tester" I have ordered the needed parts and hope to have a working unit with in a month.

Sussex TT

I checked out the thread on the forum - UK Vintage Radio. Looks like a nice DIY TT. They have trannies (US mains) and PCBs available. Uses nice LCD meters. It is SS like the S. Bench TT, and lets you test Gm at voltages as specified in the tube manuals, but I haven't studied the circuits yet. These DIY TT are a serious alternative to a beat vintage one from e-pay, if you can put in the effort to get one built... :'(

If there's no sound in a vacuum, where'd the music come from?
