BOONTON 1120 Service Manual

Postby ttc46 » Sun Jan 10, 2010 3:41 am

Hello,

For 2 years ago, I have acquired a Boonton 1120 Audio Analyzer.
Today I have a little problem with it.
I have the Instruction Manual, but I don't have the Service Manual with the schematic
If everyone have it in PDF format or a hard copy to sell, answer me.

Thank you

And Happy new Year

Here's an 1130:

Will the circuit be similar?

Cheers!

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.

Hello,

Did anyone know how much versions of the BOONTON 1120 exits?
I looked at the 1120 manual and I see that the power Supply PCB and the motherboard of my 1120 are not the same as describe in the manual.
Thank for your answer.

Bye

Just assumed that any revisions were slight. Presumably they are plug and play FRUs, if you just needed to get a new power supply. Did you sort it out?

I have two very different versions of the 1120. The earlier one does not have the "poweramp" for the output and has less drive. It also doesn't have the board in the back of the unit (the amp). The later 1120 is so similar to the 1121 I have to look carefully for the differences.

The schematic posted is for the earlier version of the 1120. Perhaps someone can make the later version or an 1121 schematic available? I would like it as well, having misplaced my copy of the manual.
