I picked up a Velleman HPS10 handheld digital scope new for about $100.
It has a small screen but it serves its purpose for simple audio measurements. It has a small screen but does handy things like display digital readouts of peak to peak and RMS measurements as well as showing the waveform.

Here's a good deal on a scope .... $ 50 for a dual trace B&K on the Radio-Classifieds.com board which I moderate ...

(select the Test Gear category)

It was posted on 12/23 ... probably won't last long.

Glad you got the message fast - he's a good guy, he's actually the owner of the want ad board, and a trade magazine called "Radio Guide"
