12ua7 conversion to 6cg7 buffer?
Posted: Wed May 16, 2012 10:43 amI have reduced the demand on my power transformer using a 5H Hammond choke input and am planning to install a small switching device to regulate the power supply for the Podiedon driver board tubes. That will further relieve the load on the PT. I am wondering whether a mod can be done with this board so as to accommodate a 6cg7 buffer tube as I'd love to try this. Is this possible and if so, how?
