Any Mark IV moders out there? Just interested to hear your experiences with the Poseidon upgrade or any other upgrade.

I guess my biggest curiosity is gauging the popularity of the Poseidon boards.

Some key parts are no longer available from Mouser (according to the BOM). I am concluding it's one of the best - if not the best - upgrades available, but getting parts is a problem for a complete board and at least for me is an obstacle. Seems I'm a few years too late as there was much more activity!

Are you perhaps talking about The LM 234Z device? Mouse has been out of stock for a while now. They can still be had though at Allied.

Some of us here (including me) stocked up on extras in case of a shortage.
I have a few LM234Z and lots of LM334Z I could mail to you.

LM334Z

Postby Shannon Parks » Fri Apr 30, 2010 6:08 am

I wonder if I should by a box of the LM334Z from Digikey. They have them for 90 cents in single piece qtys - maybe I'll by 250 or 500. I see that they have 5,000+ and that they are RoHS, so I'm not worried about them disappearing just yet.
