I'm about to order two new rectifier tubes for my MK-3's and was wondering is the Sovtek or JJ the better 5AR4?

JJ's seem to blow up pretty quickly, Sovteks are better in my opinion.

I've never used a JJ 5AR4. I have a Sovtek which I bought about ten years ago. It sees light use, and gets moved around from amp to amp. I've used it in my Mark 3 and it seems happy there.

I've also used some inexpensive "Ruby" labelled 5AR4. I'm assuming they are Chinese in origin. They've also worked well for me.
"It's a different experience; the noise occlusion, crisp, clear sound, and defined powerful bass. Strong bass does not corrupt the higher frequencies, giving a very different overall feel of the sound, one that is, in my opinion, quite unique."
