SOON!

Here is what I got so far. There is no need to show the underneath since I haven't wired it up yet. I hope to have everything done by the weekend. I'm still waiting on some parts to come in.

Looking good Jay ! Nice wide open layout compared
to the MK-III's where it's all packed together. Your
amps should run nice and cool and sound great !

Thanks Tom,

Means a lot coming from you. Lets just hope I get the grounding right. That is my #1 concern due to lack of knowledge.

Looks very nice.

My bias supply kits, pots and other items should be in today. Hoping to have mine running correctly before next weekend

Are 18.2k resistors rather than 18K resistors O.K. for the bisa to ground leg for the Mark III? I ordered the wrong ones.

Before I finish up on this, I need to know how this looks so far. I know it isn't the neatest looking wiring but I haven't trimmed it up yet.

Please let me know if there are any concerns about placement of devices and wiring. I'm not going to continue until I know It's O.K to.

Still needs to be added:

- 3rd & 4th sections of power supply
- Wiring for 1st & 2nd power supply
- Grounding for everyting
- Input
- Misc. stuff

Would it be O.K. to use a 6.81K 2 watt wirewound resistor instead of a 6.8K resistor between the 2nd and 3rd cap?

Also to be sure, am I grounding the common of my output jack to the chassis after I have ran the common of the OPT to the common output jack?

So from OPT---to common output jack---from output jack to chassis?

Close enough !

No need to ground the common of the speaker jacks to the
chassis, although you do need a small return wire to the
Poseidon board as a return for the feedback loop.

Nice looking amps you have there.

I finished up my Mark III rebuilds on Sunday and have been pleased so far.

They will get moved into the main tube rig as soon as the bias settles down.

So, I'm having problems...

Power supply
1st section - 568V
2nd section - 562V
3rd section - 384V
4th section - 489

H to ground (-73) bias on chassis turned down

6550 - Pin 8 to Ground is showing 3V!!! Shoudn't this be 600mv? This is with the bias turned down.

13V from E to ground......shouldn't this be 6.3V?

Am I missing something?

Correction: E to D is showing 6.8V, So I should be good there, but the rest?

Here is how it is wired up. If someone could look over this and let me know what I got wrong, it would be deeply appreciated!

Thanks,

Jay
