Look at those supply caps! Those poor GZ34... Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_13

Every time I look at the prices of Mk3 these days, I get depressed about my (unrealistic) perception of the value of the pair I rebuilt. I must've dropped $250 on new sockets, driver boards, cap boards, etc. I probably put another $250 into the glass. Of course, there's a cost associated with the transformers and chassis too.

Now to think I'd be hard pressed to resell them for half of what I paid to rebuild them. Oh well - guess I'll have to keep them. Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_16
"It's a different experience; the noise occlusion, crisp, clear sound, and defined powerful bass. Strong bass does not corrupt the higher frequencies, giving a very different overall feel of the sound, one that is, in my opinion, quite unique."

Look again Ty ;)

Looks like a socket SS rectifier. I'm putting 2,200uf caps on my new monos, but FWB rectification. Should be nice n' filtered though Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_02
