HI Guy's I was able to finish the testing on My Dynaco Mk3"s and they are sweet both are identical in performance. 1.6 input volts drives them to full power here is the wave form at 30hz and 100hz at full power just before clipping.[img][/img]Image Thanks TY for the help andrew

Ty_Bower wrote:I'm using the Dynaco manual as my basic guide for the necessary connections and wiring layout. Of course, the wires leading to the Dynaco board need to go to the equivalent terminals on the Poseidon board (not too hard to figure out) and the wires attached to the can capacitor need to somehow end up on the (SDS?) cap board instead. I think the cap board is a little trickier, although not too much.

There's a very good hi-res colored .gif image of the stock wiring layout. It helps a lot with the basics. I think you'll find a copy around here somewhere:

Jim built a pair of Mk3 last winter and posted some decent underside photos. His photo hosting site has since archived the images, but I saved a copy. I hope he doesn't mind me reposting them for him. By the way, if you're reading this Jim, I'd love to get a copy of your photos in high resolution.

You can find his original thread here:

Hey There,
It,s nice to know that my work is appreciated! These MK III,s are still working beautifully and I love them very much. Feel free to share photos, ect. BTW, I highly insist on the use of the delay boards I used! They have worked flawlessly during the past year. I also insist on the use of the Weber SS Rect. Tubes, during the past year, I have had to replace the JJ rect. tubes. No more! The weber ss rects. work great and will not fail, I will stick with these from now on. The current production of rect. tubes are in my opinion are substandard. The weber SS rects. are very reliable. Feel free to contact me for any help you may need.
