Wooden base for Mark III

There's a guy on eBay selling wooden bases for the Mark III:

The part that intrigued me was the driver board on his amps. If I'm not mistaken, that's a Poseidon in his pictures.

Sure looks like Poseidon boards, the Triode and other driver boards definitely look differnt and don't have that cheery bright red appearance...
The prices for the MK3 and ST70 wooden stands are pretty reasonable, too.

Yes, those are the Poseidon boards. I have a pair of those bases and they are beautifully crafted throughout. The Dynaco MKIIIs are actually on display at the Smithsonian, but Alonzo's cabinetry takes them out of the industrail age most tastefully.

It would be nice if they had some vibration isolators incorporated into those bases. Hydraulic or spring, or maybee gel?

From my communication with this builder, I was impressed by his work with the MKIII. I am using small rubber pads under the MKIII chassis and this is working out well. The base maker is aware of the desirability of avoiding "ashtray chatter" and can make recommendations based on his experience...he's a good communicator.
