Biasing the Poseidon

Postby Gregt01 » Thu Mar 01, 2007 2:17 am

Hi to all. Well I’m about to power up the first Poseidon mono block with KT88’s. I started to read the process to bias it but either I’m missing a page (not) or I’m missing some cells (probably) (damn the 70’s).
Well I can’t understand the process, step one says to remove the 5AR4 (no problem there) but that’s all, were are J6 and J21? Is it time for me to get new glasses?
Can anyone tell me what to do? (I will not stop building amps) (Knitting sounds nice)
It must be me, I havn't seen anyone else ask.

Regards
Greg

Hi Greg -

J6 and J21 are in the ST-70 manual ! No wonder you didn't find it.
Pin H on the Poseidon board would be the equivalent, only
one since it's mono.
