Transformers

Shannon due to the high sell price of the transformers here in Australia I have decided to get transformers made for my next projects. Would you be able to tell me the best specs including materials for output and power transformers for the Poseidon and the ST35i if money was no option? I have found a company that will build them and I have been told he is very well priced. A friend had his old irons made to specs for AU$90 compared to getting them rewound AU$120, he stated that the sound was smoother with the new ones compared to the old ones.
I have done some specs for the KT88’s using a mixture of Hammond and Hashimoto.

Push-Pull 60 WRMS 4,300 ct 40% Tap 318 ma. 4,8,16
FR(+-1dB) 10-70,000Hz 0.27mm Orient Core Hi-B

Total Power (VA) 237 400-0-400 250 VDC ma Bias Tap 50 VAC 5V CT @ 3A 6.3V CT @ 6A cold rolled, 0.5mm Hi-Light Core non-directional silicon steel,to form the I-E core

To technical for me I hope you understand what I'm trying to do.

Here is an excellent an fairly inexpensive transformer with stunning specs.
I'm using a pair and they are simply wonderful and in my opinion very under priced.

They also have many others to choos from:

Hi Jeff thank you for the info they look great and the price is fantastic.
The Hammond 1650N sell for AUD $203 each or USD $160 each even with the mail it still would be cheaper than Australia. Thanks again.

Hi Greg,

Sure, I think you can just copy those specs hand them to the winder. If certain windings (like a 16 ohm tap) aren't needed, them omit them.

Now if I lived in Oz, I'd also shoot a RFQ to Patrick Turner. I'd love to have some custom Turner iron. He is knowledgable enough that you could request those transformers by name. For example, "Patrick, give me an upgraded Dyna Mark III output I want to use with KT88s."
