First of all Happy New Year to all.

Now I am looking to change the R15 trim with a case mount pot, what can I use?
Does it have to be a multi turn pot?
Does it matter if it is Lin or Log?
What would the rating be (watts)?

The trimpot is 1/2 watt, so any 500 K pot above 1/2 watt
would work fine. Taper doesn't matter, linear would be
preferred I suppose. If you use a high quality pot, single
turn will be stable. The type of pot with a locking nut is
good, that way it doesn't walk on its own.

Since so little current is flowing through that balance pot, you can use basically what ever chassis pot you what. R14 and R15 can actually be omitted in this design when using matched pairs, but it does permit perfect biasing for those that like to tweak their amp. Like me. :)

Thank you guys for the info, I’m about one week from finishing the boxes and then the fun part begins.
I hope to have the amps finished by the end of Feb. I’ll post photos.

Thank you
