New pictures of my Poseidions - Finally

I finally dragged the Poseidons out in the sun and took some nice shots of them ... the shiny chrome looks sooooo nice.

Hi Tom
Have you used Hammonds on the Posidons ever?

Hi Greg -

I personally haven't - but you can use the Poseidon driver board as the basis for almost any amp with a little tweaking.

And you could use the feedback values from the Ike manual. The 1650Ns are great iron and no slouch. Maybe I should add that info to the Poseidon manual....

I have bought a set of Poseidon boards and also ordered 2X 1650N’s, 2X 378X’s and 156R’s. The only difference between the P-782’s and the 378X is that the P-782 has a 60V bias tap and the 378X has a 50V bias tap. Will this be a issue? Or will it be OK.
Will I have to modify anything?
Shannon this might be a good time to use my project as a test with the Hammond’s, if it all goes well then you can add more info to the manual which may help others.
I have only been working with valve amps for the last 6 to 8 months and I am enjoying the experience of building them and listening to them. Thanks to you Tom and Shannon for the help.

Regards
Greg

Hi Greg,

I'll do some cut-n-pasting to document using the 1650Ns from the Ike manual to help you out. With regards to the bias tap, just have some spare resistors on hand. For example, the bottom leg 18k resistor might be increased to 25k. But IIRC, there's plenty of bias adjustment room in the MKIII circuit so you'll probably be fine.
