I built this in September, and finally took some pics of it before it went off to the home of a friend in Pennsylvania.
(same spot on my deck where the picture of the amp on the Triode website was taken in 2007)

This really is the perfect amp for a first-timer or someone who doesn't want to do metalwork.
Shannon's board and easy to use Mouser Bill Of Materials (BOM) and the Triode chassis and
in-stock (or close to it) transformers make this a one afternoon project.
The Triode full kit makes it even easier. No drilling required!
(Although I did put aluminum Riv-Nuts on the sides to hold the bottom on, as I seriously hate
sheet metal screws in my amps)

Nice! Easy! Well done! Inexpensive! Reliable! Sounds wonderful!.....and the major components are "Made in USA" (gasp!)
There's no reason why everyone shouldn't own one.

Thanks for the commercial, Tom! (y) Check is in the mail. (lol)

What's your methodology on the Riv-Nuts - i.e. where do you get them and do you need any special tools? Looks great.

Look for "rivnut" on eBay. The aluminum ones for 1/4" hole and 6/32 hardware are nice.
You put them in, squeeze the giant plier-like device, and you're done. I just use them for
the bottom plates on Hammond chassis. On the stainless steel chassis, I just tapped them in
and didn't cinch them up, no need to.
