Thought I would let you guys know that I'm still using my lovely little ST35.
I have sent many folks over here to this site for the friendly expert advice. My hope is to build another amp soon - is the ST35 PCB still available, or is there something else these days?

Triode Electronics still sells the ST35 Rev C board, and I have some, too. But I stopped actively marketing it when I ran out of Rev D boards and planned to do a new version which never happened. I experimented with the EFB mod last year, and then experimented with a zener biased version, but nothing really beat out the original design in the mix of performance and simplicity. I will probably just order a new batch of Rev D boards and move on. Why mess with a good thing?

^^schweet!
now that I know a bit more, i'll stuff it with cherry picked components and source my own iron, as opposed to going the full kit route as I did in 08.
Plus, I really want to build one for my older brother, who is very skeptical of valve audio and the snake oil that surrounds it...

That's great news. I'll wait for the D's and build one of those! I scored a couple of nice original Dynaco's over the past couple of years, so I can use the Dynaco OPTs...

I never saw REV D. So you didn't care for EFB? I see Dave sells an entirly new designed power supply board with EFB to fit the original ST35 chassis. Are your REV C and REV D conventional cathode bias?

Correct. I do plan to have a zener mod for the Rev E when it is released, too.

Thanks. I'll have to research the zener mod.

ok I have in my hot hands a Rev E board now....
Looks like there's been a few changes to the BOM... I need to consolidate those and update the BOM before I order up.
