New Stereo 35 in Fairport, NY

Postby WA4SWJ » Fri Jan 28, 2005 8:59 pm

Hi Gang,

Just finished my Stereo 35 this evening. Worked just fine the first time I powered it up. No problems. I used Uncle Ned's transformers for power and output and built it on an aluminum chassis so mine is a "plain Jane" unlike the more beautiful ones that I've seen pictures of here. But it sounds great! I've been playing music and DVD's (2-channel of course) and am very happy with how it sounds. I hope to post a picture or two in about a week after returning from a trip. I'm driving some Klipsch F-2's with it. They sound good but wish I had more money for some kind of "killer" speakers. Maybe later.

Thanks for a great little project! Now on to rebuilding my Eico ST-70.

Regards,

I don't know if this will work or not but here's a picture of my version of the ST-35. The cables behind it look messy. Gotta straighten up. My amp works great! I'll try some Eiclones next once I have time.
